Big Daddy Merlot Wine, the price may be cheap but the taste is so fine and nice and light and full of flavor. I just picked up dozens of bottles at a local supermarket. The price was reduced to $4.99 a bottle and than I got 2 for 1. What a buy! What a taste!

Well, I got mine at a Meijer in Michigan, and there appear to be plenty of Meijers around Columbus. Try there, maybe?

I would like to know where, in Ohio, I can purchase Big Daddy wine. I purchased three (3) bottles in Cedar Key, Florida but have not been able to find them in Ohio. Can anyone help?

Check out Meijer’s price on Genofranco Grillo this week 4 for $10 (now thats cheap!) not a bad wine with some light pasta or fish.

Dobbin Lane’s 2003 Merlot is a great bottle for under ten…$7.99 at Bristol Farms (www.bristolfarms.com) in Southern California. Nice and light, with fruit-forward notes of plums and berries with nice acidity on the finish. Almost like a Chianti in terms of its body.

As far as wines from Argentina….La Yunta’s 2005 Torrontes is, hands down, one of the best damn white wines I have ever tried.
