Long Neck Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

Long Neck Cabernet Sauvignon 2003
If you liked the Goats Do Roam Red that I reviewed a while back, also from South Africa, then you’ll probably like Long Neck Cabernet.

The Long Neck website could win awards. It is the best wine site I’ve seen so far. But I’m here to review the wine, not the website!

The bottle had a fairly accurate description:

“Youthful, purple colour, intense fruit on the nose with delightful cherry overtones. Ripe fruit on the palate with sustained finish. Perfect for all meats, pasta and darker fish. “

While I didn’t really notice the cherry while consuming the entire bottle, it did have lots of fruity taste. Another great bargain in my opinion. Now go check out their website, and buy a bottle.

Price: $5.99
Alcohol: 14%
Enjoyed with: Steak, medium-rare
