Welcome and Introduction
Hello, and welcome!
My name is Dave, and I drink a LOT of wine. I don’t feel that I am qualified to “teach” others much of anything in life, but I certainly feel qualified to build this website. I’ve been drinking wine on a daily basis for many years, and I want to show you, my readers, that it is indeed possible to find good, quality wines below $15.00, $10.00, and sometimes even under $5.00.
You won’t see any of the fancy words used in real wine tasting events here. Just your average-Joe’s borderline-alcoholic’s opinions.
So join me, and I’ll be your tipsy tourguide as we embark on our jouney to find cheap, quality wines from all over the globe.

I won’t tell where, but in SW Michigan, a grocery store is selling Crane Lake Merlot for $2.99 with 10% discount for case purchase. Of course we’re all buying–it’s quite delicious. In the same area, one of the popular restaurants is selling it for $27/bottle!
Yeah, I see it for $3.33 quite often around my house in Lansing! Gotta love it for that price.
I’ve read a lot of reviews on other sites, and yours my favorite. Maybe it’s dissimilar vs. similar tastes in wine, but I often disagree with others views, and find yours to be right on the mark. Thanks!
Dave, I have enjoyed your sight. I am glad to see you like Marcus James. I would like to recomend Delicato Cab. It is about a buck more and worth about five bucks more. I have just started my own sight dedicated to cheap wine. I am having fun with it and really enjoyed reading some of yours. I like the site. As a daily drinker myself I try to stick to cheaper wines. I created http://www.grapescott.com to keep track of what I have tasted. Hope you find some good wines to try there…

Also in Lansing (Okemos) and I found your site after buying a bunch of woot wines and thinking of their inexpensive offerings that it is hard to beat the Crane Lake I get a Meijers. And my Google search found you right around the corner. Thanks for putting this site together.
